Septic pumping

Pump Out

Having your septic tank pumped regularly is crucial to ensure a properly functioning system. Pumping prevents sludge building up into the second compartment of your tank, prevents problems in your leach field, and backups into the home. Regular tank pumping allows you to spot any minor issues before they become major. Avoid flushing or draining specific items and solutions into your system to prevent bacterial level changes which can cause failures by damaging the biological process that breaks down solid waste. Adding unwanted items or solutions to your system can also potentially pollute ground water that may become drinking water.

Tank Tips

Never flush or drain cooking grease or oil, baby wipes or wet wipes, feminine hygiene products, latex, cigarettes, dental floss, weed and insect killers, gasoline, paint thinners, medicines and common household cleaners like bleach and drain cleaners.
